Via Colori Celebraties “A Colorful World” With Annual Street Painting Fest

Houston Via Colori® Street Painting Festival, a fundraiser for local nonprofit The Center for Hearing and Speech, will liven up the streets of downtown Houston for its 11th year November 19th-20th, 2016.

Via Colori is one of Houston’s signature art festivals, attracting more than 30,000 annual visitors. More than 200 local and international artists create mind-blowing murals on the streets of Cassandra and Raul Gallardo at 2015 Houston Via Colori.Houston over the two-day event. Via Colori also features three stages of live music, a Family Zone with kids’ chalk games and food and beverage vendors.
Via Colori raises more than $400,000 annually to fund critical health and educational services for local children with hearing loss.

“The Center for Hearing and Speech relies on the generous support from our community to help children with hearing loss learn to listen, speak and read,” said Renée Davis, Executive Director of The Center for Hearing and Speech. “We are so grateful to our sponsors, artists, volunteers, entertainers and attendees for making Via Colori possible.”

A COLORFUL WORLD
This year, Via Colori will celebrate the beauty and diversity of different cultures by highlighting five world regions. The theme, “A Colorful World,” will be represented through art, entertainment, food and activities.

VIP LOUNGE
For attendees who want to enhance their festival experience, Via Colori will feature an exclusive VIP Lounge. Lounge admission is $40 and includes complimentary food and drinks and admission into six fun-filled mini-events within the Lounge.
