SPCA of Texas’ Pets of the Week for Adoption
Female, 1-year old Catahoula mix
Meet sweet Kaiser, a 57-pound Catahoula mix. As you can see from his picture, he has really beautiful black and tan markings. He came to the SPCA of Texas on March 28 because he was a little too active for his family. That’s ok, I know I’ll find my forever home soon!
He’s a smart fellow, and knows sit, come, lay down and fetch. He bets he can learn many other things with your help. His favorite thing in the world is playing fetch. Sometimes, he will greet volunteers at his kennel door with a ball in his mouth, just hoping he gets to go outside and play! He loves to run and play chase, as well as tug. Because of his strength and energy, he may do best in a home with older kids (12 and over).
His previous owners noted that he is pretty much completely housebroken, however, after being in the shelter, he might need a little reminder. You’ll be pleased to know that I am also crate-trained. Kaiser has been neutered, microchipped and have received all age-appropriate vaccinations. He hopes to meet you soon!
Female, 3-year-old Domestic Shorthair mix
Meet Sissy, a 3-year-old Domestic Shorthair mix lady. She was transferred to the SPCA of Texas on February 9 from another animal shelter to find her forever family. She’s wearing a distinctive dark-toned tortoiseshell fur coat with pale green eyes. She is very friendly and playful and loves to be petted. If you’re looking for a laid back, lovable lady to share your couch with, she’s the one for you!
Sissy has been spayed, tested for FIV/FeLV (she’s negative), microchipped and has received age-appropriate vaccinations. She wants you to visit her and pet her today! She would like to be part of your life and she promises you her loyalty and love!
