Rosina travels to Texas from Spain and falls instantly in love with Almaviva, a local ranch owner. But she sneaks him a note in Spanish, and he doesn’t understand it! May the 4th Be With You | Volunteer & Fun at Houston Food Bank

May The 4th Be With You In a galaxy far, far away, volunteers will gather to Feed the Force by participating in the Houston Food Bank’s “May the 4th Be With You” event. This special event will consist of a short volunteer shift followed by special Star Wars activities. The Star Wars Enthusiasts of Houston will host a Jedi Training Session to teach volunteers how to build their own lightsaber out of water noodles and teach a few lightsaber moves to help volunteers fight against the dark side. The event will also consist of Star Wars Trivia and will feature character appearances such as the beloved Princess Leia. Volunteers are encouraged to dress up as their favorite Star Wars character, bring their own water noodle and donate 4 canned goods. Star Wars cookies generously donated by Cacey’s Cakery. 5th annual Stomp Out Stroke Festival

Where Discovery Green, 1500 McKinney St, Houston, TX 770105th annual Stomp Out Stroke Festival is open to the public with free admission featuring stroke and brain health education, free health screenings, nutrition & fitness demonstrations and Q&A with healthcare professionals. The Children’s Zone will showcase educational activities that promote brain education and health empowerment to children.
