Ditch the stove and play at Harvest Green during Food Truck Fridays in August.   The mobile treateries will be parked in front of the community’s Farmhouse, 3400 Harvest Corner Drive, from 5-8 p.m. each Friday throughout the month. Bring a blanket for picnicking and prepare to enjoy a neighborhood night out filled with fun including a DJ, giant Jenga and other lawn games, children’s activities and more. Bridgeland Farmers Market w/ The Snake Man

Learn to identify snakes with Clint “The Snake Man” as Bridgeland®, northwest Houston area’s premier master planned community, celebrates summer with a wide variety of meats and vegetables fresh from the farm during its monthly Farmers Market on August 13. Headlining the event will be Clint “The Snake Man” Pustejovsky, who will teach market shoppers about the importance of snake identification and safety. The Cy-Fair Volunteer Fire Department and Harris County Emergency Services District No. 9 will present their services and volunteering opportunities for Fire Station No. 13, opening in Bridgeland in 2018. The rain-or-shine Farmers Market runs from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. The market is held the second Sunday of the month in the parking lot adjacent to Bridgeland’s Lakeland Activity Center, located at 16902 Bridgeland Landing in Cypress.
