Biking Trails in Dallas to explore this Summer

L.B Houston Nature Area

L.B Houston Nature Area is the perfect place for you to get some fresh air and exercise this summer. There are multiple off road bike trails to choose from with some resistance varying from easy to difficult. When you’re ready for a break in your workout, enjoy the sight of the beautiful lake in the middle of the park. The cool thing about this park is that it also contains multiple recreational space for other activities such as a tennis court, a golf course and picnic tables.

Cedar Ridge Preserve

In the southern part of  Dallas, the views at Cedar Ridge Preserve are amazing. There are eight separate hiking/biking trails totaling approximately 6 miles over the park. The trails are clear, well maintained, and there’s plenty of shady areas to ride under. Conveniently, there are restrooms in the preserve area as well as water fountains for humans and dogs. The park also features some nice picnic areas, a beautiful lake, and a nature observation platform for bird watching!

Harry S. Moss Park

Located in the northeast part of Dallas, the Harry S. Moss Park contains 5 miles of off trail biking routes to travel along. You can also bring some soccer balls and play on the soccer fields that the parks offer. Round up the kids and stop by one of the fun playgrounds to let your kids play on. The park also contains multiple other amenities such as grills, picnic tables, water fountains, and plenty of parking spots!

Kate Jackson Park

Located in Northern Dallas, Kate Jackson Park has an adventurous mountain bike trail that contains 4 miles worth of marvelous sights. The trail is a beginner/intermediate trail that is perfect for adults and children alike. There are two entrances to the trail and is mostly shaded which is perfect for those extra sunny days. The park also contains picnic tables with grills accessible for cooking, as well as a pavilion and a playground!
